Class: Mathematics Year: 2023 - 2024
Year 6 took up the Place Value Challenge today.
12 counters (beanbags), 5 columns (javelins), and a set of rules. Using the rules, they had to try and make certain numbers. It wasn't as straight forward as it seemed!
It was fantastic to see such teamwork and mathematical thinking.
