Miss A Pool - Buttermere 2023 - 2024

Miss Pool

Welcome to Buttermere.

In Buttermere we have twenty-five energetic, enthusiastic and happy year 3/4 learners. As we move into a new year I am looking forward to getting to know all the children and learning and growing together.

This half term we are learning about the oceans and plastic pollution. The children will visit Maryport Aquarium to learn even more. We are looking at grammar and puctuation in English as well as sentence structure. Our maths lessons are initially based around place value. In P.E. we are focusing on invasion games.

Homework will be set on a Friday and will need to be submitted by the following Thursday. Homework will mainly consist of reading regularly at home, learning weekly spellings and working on times table facts using a platform such as Times Table Rockstars.

Our P.E. day is Thursday and we expect children to come to school in their full P.E. kit for the entire day.

Regular photographs will be uploaded to this page so as you can enjoy seeing what we are getting up to. To view more than the three most recent galleries, click on, "View All Gallery Items."

If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch. I am on the front yard most mornings and afternoons and I can be contacted via the Seesaw family app.
