Year 3/4 Crosscountry

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2022 - 2023

This morning myself and Mrs Glaister had the pleasure of accompanying the Year 3 & 4 Cross country team to St Benedicts School. The challenge was to try and beat the times we had run last December.

After a quick warm up the children were raring to go!

It wasn't the kind of weather you'd expect for this kind of activity and as a result of this the course was shortened and there were some refreshments offered at the finish line that some children were grateful for.

The children gave there all and really impressed us with their efforts. Once all schools have been we will find out which school managed to improve the most on their first time.
