Ullswater - Bridges

Class: Mrs Foye - Ullswater Year: 2022 - 2023

Ullswater enjoyed a day of design and technology on Tuesday. They explored 3 different bridges: arch bridge, beam bridge and a truss bridge, which is the bridge they constructed themselves. In groups of 3, the children had to measure and saw lengths of wood precisely and glue the sections together using hot glue guns. They all did a fantastic job and demonstrated excellent team work skills.
