Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2018 - 2019
On Thursday 2nd February Year 3 and Year 4 chiildren had the chance to meet a Celtic Roman auxillery soldier and handle Roman replica weapons. The children learned a great deal about life as a Roman soldier and asked some great questions. Thanks to Alan Gillon form the Beacon museum for a great experience.
