Internet Safety Day

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2021 - 2022

We spent time recapping ways we can be safe when using the Internet on Internet Safety Day.

This involved helping an alien from a faraway galaxy to know what to do when faced with a range of scenarios which could come up like: pop ups on games, unwanted messages, cyberbullying and creating screen names. We had all remembered lots from our previous work and gave some really sensible responses.

We then did a quiz together. Each question had 3 possible answers and to show our responses we put hands on heads for option a, hands on shoulders for option b and hands on hips for option c. We scored 9 out of 10 as a class.

Finally we wrote down a piece of advice we'd like to share with someone about using the Internet safely.
