Derwentwater Historic Whitehaven Walk

Derwentwater travelled back in time today! We had a walk around Whitehaven and looked at all the primary and secondary evidence of the town's past. We even met a ghost of a Town Crier from 1778, and we got to see a dagger that was left behind by John Paul Jones!
The whole town is full of history right beneath our feet (literally in terms of all the mines and mining artefacts!)
A memorable day that will go down in history!
