Class 6 - RE - The washing of the feet.

Class: Church Links & RE Year: 2018 - 2019

The children listened to John 13:2-17 'The washing of the feet'. They imagined the were Peter (one of Jesus' disciples).

At the end of the passage I asked them 'What do you want to say to Jesus?'

Here are their responses;

- Thank you for cleaning my feet.

- Jesus thank you for being the best friend ever, But why did you say it was going to be different?

- Why are you washing my feet? I should be washing yours. G.F

- Why are you washing our feet?You are the Son of God you shouldn't be treated as a slave. A.A & L.R

- There was no need but thank you for doing that.

- Thank you Jesus for washing our feet, we haven't washed them for days. L.H & O.C

- You didn't have to be like a servant and was our feet. M.S.

- Why did you was my feet? You didn't have to, but thank you. R.P

- Why did you do that? Why would you do this? G.E. & A.J

- Thank you, you didn't need to do it. I.D & E.S

- Why did you do it for me?
