Buttermere - Shadow Sculptures

Class: Miss A Pool - Buttermere Year: 2023 - 2024

Inspired by the work of different artists Buttermere spent time on both Thursday and Friday creating black letters to inspire a message. We chose the message of the St James Way and created letters spelling this out: 

• Kind
• Respectful 
• Give your all 

Using amazing teamwork skills we each created one letter and put these together to create the whole message. We used string to turn our letters into sculptures. Later, we took our sculptures outside to see if we could make shadow sculptures. The sun didn't stay out for long but we still managed some great pictures.
