Bassenthwaite- Maryport Aquarium visit

We all enjoyed our trip to Maryport today. We started with a game of crazy golf which showed we have some budding golfers in the group with some amazing efforts on a tricky course.

We then enjoyed a guided tour around the aquarium. We enjoyed hearing about the different creatures found in our oceans and learnt some interesting facts about them. Some of the creatures including a cheeky crab looked like they were waving at us and we even found Nemo and Dory on our tour! We looked at how jellyfish can look very similar to plastic bags in the water and now this links to plastic pollution.

After lunch we enjoyed an ice-cream and play on the park before we set off nack to school. 
it was a lovely day out and of course a sunny day in Maryport.
