When you have mixed operations, you have to solve it in a certain way. This has many names, and one of them is BODMAS.
Ask any of the Year 6s and they should be able to tell the correct order and how to solve these equations.
The front yard ended up looking a bit like Einstein's Chalkboard by the end of today's lesson!
