William Morris prints

Lesson: Art and design

Class: Mr Tyson - Ennerdale Year: 2018 - 2019

This term the children have researched William Morris (a Victorian wallpaper creator) and studied his work. They have created their own wallpaper design and transferred this to a polystyrene tile. The carved tile was then covered in lino paint and printed onto art paper. In class we selected our three favourites and sent an image of them along with a written email to Steve’s Wallpapers asking them to select a winner. We are awaiting their decision… who knows, they might even put their favourite into production!
