Remembrance day

Lesson: Religious education

Class: History Year: 2018 - 2019

Children's work on remembrance day.

Class 3 led an assembly on Tuesday, they read poems and used pastels to create a piece of art work.

Year 3 and 4 researched what remembrance day was and created a fact page. They even had a go at writing their own prayers .

Year 5 and 6 created silhouette pictures using images of soldies.

The children have been very reflective this week and have a real understanding of what remembrance day is, why we have 2 minutes silence and why we wear poppies.
