Jesus washes his disciples feet

This week in RE we have been thinking about why Jesus washed his disciples feet. We watched a video clip showing this part of the Easter story and then thought about the significance of Jesus doing this. The children recorded their ideas onto their whiteboards. They were very thoughtful in their responses and said Jesus might have done this to show that everyone should be treated equal or to lead by example. They then used a piece of art and question starters to think about the event in more detail.
