Class 6 - Stonehenge silhouettes

Class: Miss A Pool - Buttermere Year: 2020 - 2021

The construction of Stonehenge was started in the Stone Age and completed in the Bronze Age. After learning about what Stone Henge might have been used for, the children enjoyed creating silhouette paintings. Some painted a moonlit background and others a sunset as historians believe that the movement of the sun and the moon was an important part of this giant structure.
