What an excellent way to round off our Maya Theme!
We have been using clay techniques to make recreations (secondary evidence) of Mayan Death Masks!
These are based on the Mask of Pakal, found in the Temple of Inscriptions, Palenque.
We will paint our masks tomorrow, ready to send off to the after-life, and face the Mayan Death God!
