Class 1 - computing: designing a smart school

Class: Miss L Pool - Windermere Year: 2021 - 2022

Today we applied our understanding of big data and IoT principles to plan and design a smart school. We walked around schools to identify areas smart technology could be used to make life easier at school. We talked about the pros and cons of using smart technology and how it can track you, which then led into a conversation about keeping your personal details safe and what you should and shouldn't share. 

We enjoyed sharing our work with each other in the outdoor classroom.
