Bibles for all

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2021 - 2022

The lowers had a lovely surprise assembly today. Reverend Jackson came into school to hand out bibles to our new year 3 children. This has become a tradition at St James, every child receives their own bible to keep. Today year 3 started their journey with their special object. This is something they can take with them when they leave St James and use in their lives.

We learn so much from stories and we often find we can relate to particular characters in stories. Children will enjoy finding and reading lots of bible stories in our lessons and assemblies.
