2.3.20 - Collective worship committee - Forgiveness

Class: Church Links & RE Year: 2019 - 2020

Mrs Milligan led the assemble and it was based on forgiveness. We watched a video on how Disney characters express forgiveness. We also thought about how we show forgiveness and why it is important to forgive others. Isla.

Children's responses (Ffion, Sklyer & Jacob);

What was the key message from today's worship?

If you forgive someone you are a strong person.
Forgive people who sin against you.
It it better to forgive than hurt people in revenge or anger.

The thing I will remember best from today's worship is...

If someone is really bad, try hard to forgive them.
Forgiving is better than taking revenge or hurting someone.

How will you apply this to your life?

Instead of being angry, forgive them.

If someone is mean to you try and forgive them if they say sorry.

How did you get a chance to pray/reflect today?

We had some quiet time to think about the questions.
We also said the school prayer at the end of the worship.
