ICT 2019 - 2020

Mr King

In computing, children use a range of software and devices to produce content that brings their ideas to life. All children at our school use laptops and ipads in a range of different ways in the classroom.  We invest regularly in new applications and hardware in order to keep up to date with new ways of collaborating, creating and learning and strive to utilise these across all curriculum subjects. Children in all year groups learn to code computer programs in order to create animations, quizzes and games and build upon their undersatnding and skills year on year. We aim to give children the opportunity to apply their learning across a range of software and platforms preparing them as flexible, computational thinkers who are equipped with the necessary skills to keep pace with a continually evolving world of computers and technology.
